I'll share some results from Southamerica:

Colombia 2 - 1 Argentina ( Shocked )
Venezuela 5 - 3 Bolivia
Chile 0 - 3 Paraguay  ( Censored )
Ecuador 5 - 1 Peru  ( Ouch )

I fell asleep last night and I still don't know how was Brazil against Uruguay.
The best you can is good enough...

Sheesh, we were at the screen last night watching Finland draw against Portugal. It would have been the first time for us in the EM, but we ended up 1 goal short, so Portugal went in. Oh well, for a not such a good team, it's hard to beat a country like Portugal when all they need is a draw. But, 1-1 and 0-0 plus a victory and a draw against Poland is something to be proud of. Last night's game, well... The ball did go 30cm past the post, that's how close we got.

I have expectations on the 2nd and 3rd, they seem very good, Those countries will keep it interesting till the end.

The England team are a joke.

Why the f**k did Steve McLaren go with Carson in goal? I feel for the guy. You don't throw a 22 year old goalkeeper to debut in one of Englands most important ever games. And if there's a young keeper in net, why the hell didn't some of our defenders give him a few early touches to settle his nerve? If his first touch was an awkward bouncing shot right infront of him on a bad pitch 8 minutes in, I'm not suprised he screwed up!
Why did Lampard and Gerrard stay the whole 90 minutes? Both were crap. And Crouch can't play alone up front. Mclaren got what he deserved.

England can't play as a team, so we didn't deserve to make the finals. Scotland are a much better team than us at the moment.

BTW, what's happening with Chris Kirkland? Why doesn't he play in the representation?

One curiosity: Venezuela is the only SA country that never reached a World Cup final round.

The first 4 will be automatically qualified and the 5th will go to a play-off with a North/Central America team.

He was injured for so long, and now he's OK but not great. Robert Green is Englands best keeper but for some reason he's never in the squad.

I agree with that Clap
in Greece we have and we had many good Polish goalkeepers

Josef Vancyk (wrong spelling I am sure) retired now
Arkadiusz Malarz (active, in Panathinaikos now)
and Turina (I think that's his name, in Xanthi)

Apparently Mourinho doesnt want the England job. Maybe Capello or someone of that stature will come forward.

Anyhoo, I'll be supporting Greece in the Euro 2008 Finals..
