Erik - Mellotron  ( who being such a number freak we'd leave in charge of finances)
Ivan - Piano (and trying to electocute Erik with miswired 'trons)
Jody - Drums ( with assorted explosives in the bass drums)
Bern - whatever the hell he plays.... I just want his 'pic' on Jody's bass drums
TLC - guitars ( resident troublemaking drunk who plays guitars when sober and fights with Jody not)

and on vocals..the one and  only..goddess of all things prog...... Ghost Rider  (with her sultry raspy voice and broken english gives us some serious stage presence ..and something for the kids to see while that bands tears itself from limb to limb on stage)

I play flute Wink

And I'd be happy to be featured on Jody's bass drum LOL

Wink   you've got yourself  a gig if you can keep a crowd interested for 20 minutes while we all get blasted back stage LOL  Nice to see they still let you  out of the Velvet Room...think they'll let you tour though?  We'll hire a  roadie as a chaperone if you need one LOL  Tony R... he'd be the groups muscle hahahhahahah

How about this:

Captain Beefheart - Saxaphone/Vocals

Frank Zappa - Guitar/Vocals
Tom Waits - Piano/Guitar/Percussion/Vocals

I came up with this one this morning

Greg Lake - bass/vocals
Patrick Moraz - keys
Steve Hackett - guitar
David Jackson - sax/flute
Bill Bruford - drums

They would have a fairly light, jazzy feel to them.

Mine would be the Keiths!

Keith Emerson (keyboards)
Keith Richards (guitar)
Keith Moon (drums)
Keith Reid (lyrics)

Lock them in a house, and you'd have a great little television show too!

Alright lets see...
Vocals; Ronnie James Dio
With additional Vocals by; Candice Night
Guitar; Ritchie Blackmore
Bass; Roger Glover
Drums; Cozy Powell (or Bobby Rondinelli-'cause Cozy's dead)
Keyboards; Micky Lee Soule
And the band would be...well Rainbow...seeing as all these people were in rainbow at one time or another...
Vocals; Ronnie James Dio-OR-Ian Gillan
Guitars; Tony Iommi
Bass; Geezer Butler
Drums; Bill Ward
Keyboards; Geoff Nicholls
The line ups from Heaven and hell and Born Again, my two favorite Sabbath albums...hell even with Ozzy, if he'd do something with Sabbath) and finally;
Vocals; Joe Lynn Turner
Guitar; Doug Aldrich
Rythm Guitar; Janick Gers
Drums; Chuck Burgi
Keyboards; David Rosenthal
I'd love to see this band...it'd be cool!
It's got to be slow
Taking love the only way
It's got to just flow
Making love and taking time to let it grow

dreamband from a floating cloud (meaning of deceased musicians) would be:
Perre Moerlen - drums and tuned percussion
Pip Pyle - drums
Jaco Pastorius - bass
Alan Gowen - keyboards
Elton Dean - saxes
Volker Kriegel - guitar
Albert Mangelsdorff - trombone

actually Mangelsdorff and Pastorius already played together on earth; the same is true for Pyle, Gowen and Dean

O.K. here is my 1st post here! I'm so excited!

Vocals: Anne Haslam & Bjork
Guitar: Terje Rypdal
Bass: Ray Shulman
Keyboards: Kit Watkins
Drums: Bill Bruford and/or me
Percussion: The Balinese Gamelan Ensemble
Background Vocals: Le Mystere Des Voix Bulgares

Quite ambitious, I know! I would be a groupie and follow them around the world! It would be a passionate blend of hypnotic interwoven rhythms, layers and souring melodies! Man, I can hear it!
