I agree with you for the full 100 per cent.... I can't dance (at least so I think) but sometimes love to do so when clubbing Big smile

C'mon ppl, prog fans have long beards, glasses and worn out brown sweaters ;-) Some ppl claim they don't dance, but they do it anyway when they're alone at home and listening to prog (and it seems more like a ducks mating call than actual dancing)...

There are, however, few certain ways of behaviour while attending a prog gig..

1) The fan goes nuts and starts shouting and raving because he/she sees his/her favourite band first time live - outsiders and non-prog fans are certain that either he/she lost his/her mind or someone definitely spiked his/her drink.

2) The fan lapses into a "conscious coma" as he is overwhelmed because of the astounding musicianship and beautiful melodies the band produces (alcohol and weed also helps to enhance this stance to a certain point).

3) The fan stays in the corner alone with his/her drink (usually a normal lager beer), carefully studying and the same time judging how the band plays and immediately picks up every falsely played note and/or part of the song

And this is from live observation ;-)
Really don't mind if you sit this one out.

It all depends on what you're dancing to Tongue

I think more commonly we do air-instrumentation, actually (hah)

No. I'm a horrible dancer. Cry

Not that I care much, though.
