You got that right! All-female math rockers Tricot and especially Paranoid Void deserve a mention (and they're in PA no less).

It's also the only country I know that has female metal festivals in which all of the numerous performers, singers AND musicians, are female.
Just to name a few of them: Show-Ya, Aphasia, Aldious, Mary's Blood, Destrose, Yellow Machinegun, Bridear, Gallhammer, Galmet, Lovebites, Cyntia, and the wonderfully named Flagitious Idiosyncrasy in the Dilapidation.
And that's just some of the metal bands, not the rock, punk, pop and other acts. That's pretty cool.


And don't forget Babymetal LOL

The were all fairly easy on the eye to be fair..

I had their first couple of albums, but never got to see them. Bruce Dickinson was quite a fan by all accounts, and I think they supported Maiden in 82 or 83.

Masuhiro Goto (ex-Gerard). Then he left, and they got another guy drummer and (guy) guitarist, effectively ending their "all-girl" prog band era. But the line-up of Keiko, Mika and Akiko did reunite recently to play some shows.
