Most of the videos he posted in this thread belong to significant bands/artists in the USSR. You may like these songs or not, but they are already classics.

Apologies if I misspoke.

Same here, but it looks too much like his usual behaviour.

I never said Svetonio didn't have interesting musical propositions either (he often did), but it's the way he perceives genres (plus some highly offensive racist posts) that got him banned.

The last thing I want in my life is to cause a conflict, anywhere.

However, I think that if there was a guy that was FAMOUSLY banned for one reason or another, it would be nice if he and his activities that made him banned were carved in stone somewhere at the gates of Prog Archives.

For I was confused a bit yesterday. I looked in Wikipedia, read the bio, returned to the forum, didn't understand why I had had to be literal to be perceived normally at this site. Now I see, that was another Svetonio, not from the ancient times. OK.

I promise to improve my behaviour. I am so sorry.

Yup, we should maybe apologize to you if you're not him. Wink

It had become to a point that it was a game between us as to whom would spot him first.

Ian & I have to look out for him both here and at another forum, where he keeps returning after getting life ban on there too.
I think next time he'll pop up here or there, he will be signalling himself as from either Nauru, Mauritania or South Sudan. LOL

Sunchild and Karfagen are from Ukraine. Wink

Yes, I know. I wasn't the only one to mention them either. ;)

Maybe Soviet scientists cloned him in order to create a more placid genetic makeup however the experiment went terribly wrong and the evil Svet was unleashed which has resulted in the arch-enemy of PA for eternity. OH NO Wacko

There's really no problem. I think I wanted to be extra broad on the topic, ranging from the very beginning of the proto-proto-prog to the avant-garde of Zvuki Mu. I was too broad, I must say. And it's really nice that somebody can tell me to calm down. I mean, really nice! Smile

There was so much prog-tinged folk in the USSR, there naturally a question appears whether a certain band has enough depth of its shade of progressiveness. I also understand the lyrics and its dear to me and I thus think it's all too prog. Like, I used to listen to Queen's ANATO for years without knowing the lyrics. It was just additional sounds to me. Without lyrics the songs lose per cents of their charm - at least, in case of Queen.

Life is too complex. No problem in minor problems. At least, I have read the biography of Gaius Suetonius Tranquilllus.
