DT album covers were never great, though. Octavarium is the only one that would actively call "good." Maybe ToT too.

Don't get me wrong... V is bloody brilliant, I just personally like the Odyssey better. Glad to hear though!

That's true. I would expect more of Hugh Syme though.

I think ToT is the only one I really like. Octavarium is ok, same with Systematic Chaos.

There's this one section of the NJ Parkway that looks just like the cover of Systematic Chaos. Like it made me IRL when I realized it.

At first, but you get used to it. LOL yes Marco, minus the giant ants and DT sign...it was cool though. Then I had a sad when I realized the clusterf**k of highway I was driving on

I liked it quite a bit. SW posted 1 min samples of each track from the new album, they sounded promising.

I kinda like the cover, actually. | That's right, didn't you say in the album cover thread that you actually like that "I just registered my copy of Photoshop CS5" style? I'm glad I have the support of the people. That reminds me, I have some things to post in the Post of the Day thread, but I'm too lazy now. Maybe tomorrow.

What's your example of a good album cover, Henners? |
Most of the famous ones. Some of them annoy me (ITCOTCK, CTTE's stupid gradient, and all of VDGG except for Godbluff and Still Life, most notably), but I don't generally hate covers.

I like CTTE's stupid gradient, although I admit it's uninspired.
