Black Flag's logo is about as cliché posse hardcore as you can get nowadays.  I see so many people with it inked somewhere it isn't even funny anymore.  Which is a damn shame because it's pretty much the antithesis of what the band wanted.
Aw man... sorry to hear that.  I'll let you know how it went.

When I think of Black Flag, I think of Henry's writings in "Get in the Van" -- constant traveling, very little food or sleep, no real money to speak of, nothing but the buzz they got from playing their music, or "beating it out of themselves" as they seemed to do.  Interestingly though, relatively little of their recorded work really does them justice.  I always thought their later albums had really lifeless sound quality, though I do like the songs.

So is it a pig who destroys or someone who destroys pigs?

It is probably a woman who has an uncanny ability of destroying the male pig ego.

Or it might be a vegetarian/vegan band using grotesque imagery to raise animal rights awareness.

Maybe it's the pigs from Animal Farm who destroy the tyranny of the farmers and start their own society on the farm.

I don't think that this would have ever been a hit if it had been originally written this way, but gotta give the Flaming Lips credit for coming up with a pretty original cover of a most popular song.

One of my favorite books. It breaks my heart, though, at the end, to see how the animal's society became so poisoned by the same defects that the world they wanted to rise above had previously. Reminds me of the Stalinist Revolution "all in the name of freedom and the people"

yea, although Stalin's rise to power was more for himself than anything

But don't spoil too much. I mean, I already know that's going to happen, but still, haven't finished.

What i meant was that Stalin did what he did under the guise of "for the people",  that was his official "mandate", but it was a deception

Wicker chairs exude an air of sophisticated earthiness.  Or so they claim.
