We're just spoiled. There was a good stretch when more often than not the SB really wasn't a good game. Since 2001 we've had almost all exciting games, so this deff breaks a steak..
Holy sh*t. What a beatdown. I had Seattle winning, but thought it was gunna be tight. This one felt over by the second quarter. Denver's offense was soft. HUGE stats but it's all finesse. Finesse and smarts. Peyton may be the smartest QB out there, and he does such a great job of mismatching and audibles and what not, but that offense just never goes out there and beats people. He's almost too rhythm based. If you disrupt it at all he crumbles. Felt this way even on Indy, impressive as he was just too often left you feeling meh.
Congrats to Seattle. One helluva team, and glad to see defense still wins championships!

Shouldn't be surprised. There seems to be a tendency that when a game looks good on paper, or is expected to go a certain way, it goes the complete opposite.
Massive congrats to the 'Hawks. They ate the broncos asses with hot sauce smeared all between the cheeks. Hopefully they will be able to keep them 9ers in check for many years to come.

Defense in this era? A remarkable win for the hawks. It was over at first snap over the head. Peyton was doomed from the start.
Glad to see Ray Guy and Humphrey get in the HoF. About time.

That was just dominant, in all three phases. Denver never had a shot.

I actually enjoyed the half-time show this year. Bruno Mars' show was quite entertaining. Love how he started out with a drum solo. RHCP played tribute to Broncos' first half. Give It Away Now. Enuff said.

I never knew Bruno Mars except for that "Yay yay yo" annoying song. I actually liked the rest of his set. And his band mixed well with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Atrocious commercials with a couple of exceptions (and a mini-sort-of-Seinfeld reunion which by itself is the best thing ever) and a boring as hell game... I don't like Bruno Mars but it's bad when the halftime show is better than the surroundings halves...

It did not bore us folks up here in the Pacific Northwest. Seattle's defense scored as much as the record setting NFL offense. There was a ton of highlights to watch. I was not watching a football game for commercials for products I don't use anyway.
