You know, I'm not exactly sure why they were called Art Zoyd 3.  I have read it somewhere (perhaps in the liner notes of the reissue of the 1976 debut) but cannot recall why.

The band had four members at this time, so it's not to do with that.

I need that new Indukti album...

Damn, I am severely lacking 2009 albums.

The new Deluge Grander (speaking of which, I don't actually officially own their debut Embarrassed)
The new Cheer-Accident
The new Alamaailman Vasarat
The new Peter Hammill
The new Ahleuchatistas (or was it Upsilon Acrux?)

Plus a lot more besides.

August in the Urals was a great album, so I hope the new one is just as good.

However, I prefer Birds with Buildings (same keyboard player and composer, of course).

It's still too much listening to him for over six hours. Wink

I'm actually surprised he's not metal to the bone. Bucketheadland was schizo-collage-crap, but the rest variated nicely, from acoustic (any Steve Hackett posters he keeps in his bedroom? Tongue), heavy, experimental, etc.

Primus, Praxis, Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains and I daresay, Deli Creeps, are not metal bands.

Buckethead is rather eclectic with his tastes and isn't really a metal man, as such.  Not even Guns 'n Roses are that metal.
