Going to a local beer tasting festival tomorrow. About 30 local micro brewers will be there from a tri state area.

I just spent a couple weeks in a dry camp and am going to rectify that by getting roaring drunk tomorrow. Will notify if I try anything new.

The local brew fest was lots of fun.....over 30 vendors giving out samples in your little plastic cup....too many to name but there were some interesting ones:
'The Dude'-a White Russian java porter and they also had a chocolate vanilla porter that was very good-from Crown Brewing.
'Neptune' a delicious summer wheat beer by Four Fathers in Valparaiso, IN.
too many others to name and I forgot them anyway.....

By the way here's the picture I took last night of that Green Flash IPA, just so you can see the floaties. Talk about unfiltered!

Just curious...do you live in the Midwest..? I ask because there's a Dark Lord festival each year in April at Three Floyds bewery in Munster ,IN that attracts a huge crowd that want to get a bottle of Dark Lord which is only made once a year.

I'll take a wild guess you had no issues with (how can I put this? ) being regular the day afterward...

That's right...I think you mentioned MN before....my daughter used to live in Richfield and we used to drink craft beer from that area including Minneapolis and St Paul.
I miss that area on vacations, it was fun.

Yep, I remember that conversation too now that you mention it! Moving into the summer brews this one def fits the bill. Light and easy to drink, if a little unadventurous.

Yikes Colin, my blood alcohol just shot up .02 looking at that photo Wu, that beer was OK but not much character. This one I'm having tonight is also very drinkable for summer but has more spark.

Superior's Kayak Kolsch is another great summer brew....light and tangy....but I don't know how far it is distributed. From Duluth.

Drinking this right now. Probably not quite worth what I had to pay for it, but still f**king delicious
