I really like Shape/Change, but I can understand your reaction there. Ornette! is next on my list, actually. I assume it's still good?

Haha, Lewis Black guested as a shock jock on the episode of SVU I just watched.

Anyway, to me this sounds a lot like Ornette's solos, but maybe I'm not listening hard enough to hear the groundbreaking.

Hell yes I am. It's been about a year since I last touched it and this morning I aced Dodongo's Cavern in under an hour. I'm hoping to hit the Forest Temple by tonight.

Sweet. I haven't played it in years. Maybe I'll re-play it one of these days... definitely one of the best games ever.

Yeah Ornette! is still good, one interesting thing about it is that T&T is entirely a drum solo.

Speaking of solos, I swear that Albert Ayler has to have an extended bass and extended cello solo on all of his albums, and they're always terrible. LOL By the way, his first album My Name is Albert Ayler is extremely OOP, but I found a way to get it, and it's hilarious. The band will only play solid hard bop, and I think they were trying to ignore that Albert is freaking out over there and just finish his damn song.

Okay, good. I'll definitely check that out.

Haha, that sounds intriguing. I really want to hear some Albert Ayler soon too.

It's not my all-time favorite, but it's up there as being one of the best games ever, sure.

First Meditations by Coltrane ftw. In fact... pretty much anything by Coltrane ftw. Was there anything he played on that wasn't absolutely awesome?

I will stop getting out of bed in the morning because I fail at something each day.

I'm not even sure yet.
It could be because something else failed, who knows?

The only good thing right now in my life is knowing the Australian dollar is rising against the US dollar, meaning I could start buying stuff from the US more often.
