Another serious top 5 of the year candidate. In the individual songs category Unreachable is likely to be very close to the top. The instrumental section is stunning.

^Mmm... I'd say this is quite versatile psychedelic rock, but most of his other stuff I'm familiar with is either acoustic singer/songwriter material or slightly experimental rock. The track called Unreachable which I was talking about is at his Myspace site, go and have a listen: http://www.myspace.com/johnfrusciantemusic
It's playing right now Heart

Another high point is a song called Dark/Light, which is a two part song; the dark part being a brilliant melancholy piano ballad which then turns into an upbeat drum machine backed bass jam.

Ritual - The Hemulic Voluntary Band (2007)

This album really doesn't get enough love around here.

^^^Nice!

How do you like that one Scott? I'd say it's a 3 star album at best, but it might be my favorite after their debut. Dancer is a great tune, same with Dutchess Of Oreleans

I've only listened to it a few times but I like it quite a bit.  I was thinking of you as I was playing it since I see you play them quite a bit.  This is the only album that I have heard from them so I have nothing else to compare it to.

I wonder if any of you remember this song Babylon A.D. - The Kid Goes Wild.  A guest appearance by the hot comedian at the time Sam Kinison.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BohbWIK1Uw
