He was incredibly gracious, and we talked growing up, our careers, and music of course.  He answered all sorts of questions I threw at him about Echolyn (meanings behind songs, for instance), like why they didn't have a title for their second eponymous album (they were sure it was going to be the last one).  He even asked me to send him my music and he would be happy to give me advice.  Smile

Really cool guy.

Those guys always seem to be quite down to earth with the stuff that I have read regarding them and their interactions with other musicians and their fans.

He even told me he would tell Ray some of my interpretations of Ray's lyrics (which ended up being way, way off base LOL ).

He also got a kick out of hearing how I use an Echolyn song in my journalism classes to teach writing music reviews and how the average teenager really thinks his band sucks.  Big smile
