It makes Acid Mess sound like Soft Psych LOL It's quite good, I think the guitars are way too loud though.

What do you think of it?

Not bad at all. Seems like rather classic CS sound, perhaps slightly subdued. Not my favorite by them, but plenty of good stuff there.

Definitely worth it, especially if you are already a fan.

And it is! My favorite of his early (pre-Impulse) albums.

I only listened to Euporie Tide a couple of times so far. I think I'll move backwards on their discography Tongue

I still only have Giant Steps, Soultrane and Ellington/Coltrane. They are all so good that I haven't thought about getting more Tongue

A good move, I think. Earlier in their life they were much more of a stoner rock band that didn't delve into the energetic spacey krauty jams that they've more or less mastered now.

As for early trane...I wholly recommend Blue Trane and Lush Life, if you ever feel like exploring more. Tongue

If it's good Stoner, it's still good Wink

Thanks. I heard Blue Trane before but not Lush Life. I've been exploring other Coltrane albums at work Tongue Another reason I don't get more is because I've been buying some Jazz albums at concerts I attend to. There are great Jazz concerts every week, where I live Thumbs Up

Ahh I see. Well obviously we shall disagree. TongueBut if you do enjoy stoner stuff then the earlier albums should be up your alley.

And nice. I'm not really a concert guy but I keep telling myself I'll go to some of the jazz clubs in NYC but have yet to actually make it out there. But Yeah...I usually put off buying jazz clasics and the big names of jazz because there is just so much out there and all this jazz stuff seems relatively well stocked and widely available (unlike many of the things I buy).
