^ Yeah, I must say it's very tricky to edit album or artist pages nowadays. If I have more "success", it's only because of my automated tools that take care of all the current bugs of this site... until another bug comes in!!!
In short, you're right, I think it's easier for me to edit pages without glitches. (Not that I'm better at it, just because of my homemade scripts.)

Ocean - Melody: https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=35621.
Needs some corrections to the credits and a bit of minor tidying up. Times are correct according to discogs, but track 6, 'Melody Bass' would look better written as 4:09 rather than 3:69 lol! (you can't really blame Torod for this - it actually gives that as the timing on the centre label of the LP!) 1. Ocean (10:13) 2. Katrin (4:35) 3. 7 To 8 Melody (5:47) 4. Wild Pig (4:51) 5. Slow & Chromatic (6:15) 6. Melody Bass (4:09) 7. Bolero (3:42) Total Time 39:32 - Thomas Pfeiffer / drums, percussion - Mike Hoffmann / keyboards - Peter Kunz / keyboards With: - Gregor Heinrich / bass Subtitled "Keyboards & Percussion" Produced at Tonstudio Bieber by Kurt Eggmann, Hanspeter Günster and Michael Siebel Mixed by Peter Wahl Engineered by Hanspeter Günster and Michael Siebel Distributed by Bellaphon Vinyl LP Tonstudio Bieber - TSB 507/81 (1981, Germany) Note: Stefan Peters didn't feature on this album as currently indicated on our page - he teamed up with Peter J. Kunz to record the second album 'Double Vision': Ocean - Double Vision: https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=35622. No track times or any other info. 1. Ouverture (4:19) 2. Intermezzo (4:00) 3. Double Vision (1:58) 4. Ballade Zwo (1:42) 5. To Keith (1:53) 6. Kleiner Marsch (2:30) 7. Joe Z (5:11) 8. Sonntag (4:44) 9. Bassline (3:48) 10. Ragtime (3:08) Total Time 33:13 - Peter J. Possible addendum to the Wally biography? - The Wally story continued... -------------------------------------------------------------------------- When WALLY were offered their deal with Atlantic Records, they were given the choice of waiting three months before signing to Atlantic America, or they could sign immediately to Atlantic UK - and the deal with Atlantic UK involved being picked up in a limousine and driven to the same office in London where THE BEATLES signed their contract. So, being very naive, they went for the quick, easy option, but things went wrong for Atlantic Records a couple of years later and they closed down their UK operation, dropping the band completely. WALLY continued for a while after they were dropped by Atlantic, but in the end the continuous touring became increasingly hard work for them and finally took its toll, resulting in them calling it a day. However, they did keep their hand in for a while playing as the backing band of the popular French singer Michel Polnareff during a tour of Japan in 1975. After that, Roy Webber initially set up a graphic design company primarily working for Yorkshire Television, but also with the Royal Armouries Museum. He later set up a creative agency branding major sporting events, including the 2014 World Cup which was held in Brazil. Pete Sage went to Germany to work as a sound engineer for the pop group BONEY M, and Nick Glennie-Smith was eyed up as a potential replacement for Rick Wakeman in YES, but he went on to be a leading session musician and soundtrack composer after being taken under the wing of prolific music score writer Hans Zimmer, and basing himself in the USA. Guitarist Pete Cosker became too deeply involved with drugs, and was found dead from an overdose in Harrogate in 1990. Drummer Roger Narraway transformed himself into a talented lead guitarist and Paul Middleton retreated to the North Yorkshire Dales, becoming a carpenter and occasionally playing alongside Roy Webber in the country rock band FREDDIE ALVA AND THE MEN FROM DELMONTE. He later gigged on a regular basis with his own band THE ANGST BAND, featuring fellow ex-WALLY band member Frank Mizen on pedal steel guitar and banjo. Roy Webber later teamed up with a guitarist named Will Jackson to form the band JACKSON WEBBER, and they duo released an album called 'What It Is' in 2006. Then, out of the blue in 2008, former keyboard player Nick Glennie-Smith just happened to call on Roy Webber when he was he was over in London, and while they were out having dinner together Nick suggested that the band should get back together. However, just as the rest of the band began discussing the possibility of a reunion, the original keyboard player Paul Gerrett died from a suspected heart attack in his sleep on a beach in Thailand, where he owned a popular bar. Despite this untimely setback, eventually, after a thirty-year-plus hiatus, the surviving members of the original line-up - complemented by Frank Mizen on pedal steel guitar and Will Jackson on guitar - performed to a full house in April 2009 in their home town of Harrogate, and a DVD of the concert called 'That Was Then' was released by the band later that year. In February 2010 the band released a new album called 'Montpellier', which consisted of a couple of new recordings of demos from the band's earlier incarnation, along with new material by both Webber and Middleton. The Montpellier album was mixed in Leeds at the Soundworks Studio, and produced by Will Jackson, who had also been working there with Leeds bands THE PIGEON DETECTIVES and KAISER CHIEFS. The instrumental parts of several of the new tracks were recorded remotely by the band members however, since keyboardist Nick Glennie-Smith was living in the USA and violinist Pete Sage lived in Germany. The 'That Was Then' DVD included the complete Harrogate concert performance, along with an exclusive interview filmed with band members Roy Webber, Will Jackson and Frank Mizen. The interview was filmed at the end of August 2011 at the band's recording studio in Harrogate, and in it the band discuss their history and also forthcoming plans both as members of WALLY and also JACKSON WEBBER. A second reunion concert took place in April 2010, the ticket sales proceeds of which were used to erect a permanent memorial for Pete Cosker and Paul Gerrett. A recording of the 2010 reunion was released as a live album called 'To The Urban Man' and a third reunion concert was held in April 2011 - again in WALLY's home town of Harrogate. The new incarnation of WALLY then signed to Gonzo Records in late 2011, and the first release on that label was a UK re-release of 'Montpellier' in February 2012 on Gonzo Multimedia. Over the remainder of the year the entire back catalogue of WALLY albums was repackaged in special edition sleeves with additional rare tracks that had not previously appeared on those albums. The 'That Was Then' DVD was also re-released in 2012 by Gonzo Records, as well the JACKSON WEBBER album 'What It Is'. The WALLY story then fades out again somewhat. JACKSON WEBBER were working with Frank Mizzen on new material in the summer of 2012, but nothing seems to have come from it as yet, and violinist Pete Sage now plays multiple instruments with the very popular German Celtic/Folk Rock band SANTIANO, after being auditioned by them when he needed somewhere to store his instruments after falling out with his wife! A new WALLY compilation album called 'Martyrs and Cowboys - The Atlantic Recordings 1974-1975' was released on Esoteric Recordings in 2019 - this being a newly remastered 2CD reissue of the first two WALLY albums recorded for Atlantic Records in 1974 and 1975, plus two single b-sides which are previously unreleased on CD. The album was produced by Rick Wakeman and Bob Harris, who also co-produced the band's original self-titled debut album back in 1974. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Note: This addendum is intended for possible inclusion at the bottom of the existing biography which covers the band's early years, and |'ve kept the same format of only capitalising band names, rather than using the preferred capitalisation of both band names and surnames. - E&O Team: Thanks, David, perfect! And done. Please let us know, would my note (Additional info by David (yam yam), December 2023) be correct.

Just a quick addition to the Montpelier album credits now, and then I think we're done with Wally! Main band musicians are already correctly entered, but the album also featured: With: - Phil Dean / guitar (6) - Rob Reynolds / vocals (8) - Teri Sullivan / backing vocals - Kate Peters / backing vocals CD Self-released (2010, UK) CD Gonzo Multimedia - HST093CD (2012, UK) - E&O Team: Thanks, David, done. Formatting on 'Martyrs and Cowboys' is OK, I've only pointed bonus tracks out.

Had a look at the first of the Torod album additions, and it's a DVD, which is hardly ever easy to find info for.
Timings below are taken from the CD version of the concert, which I'm assuming will be similar to those on the DVD, but there's no guarantee of that. According to the image of the case artwork the DVD runs to 2 hours. Intro (Thunderbirds) 1. 1980-f (2:44) 2. Life In The City (4:14) 3. Frozen Rivers (3:34) 4. Time To Think (3:54) 5. Dancing In The Shadows (3:11) 6. Who's Gonna Love You? (5:57) 7. One Rule For You (4:32) 8. Billy Billy (6:27) 9. Der Kommissar (4:34) 10. Laser Love (3:57) 11. Starflight (4:14) 12. Joy (3:30) 13. Gina 2004 (2:26) Below is the alternative set of timings from the Angel Air YouTube uploads of the individual track performances from the concert, the sum of which which will almost certainly be a lot closer to the running time of the entire concert than the ones above. The aggregate of these timings is 4:17 longer than the ones above: Intro (Thunderbirds) 1. 1980-f (2:34) 2. Life In The City (4:34) 3. Frozen Rivers (3:49) 4. Time To Think (3:51) 5. Dancing In The Shadows (3:17) 6. Who's Gonna Love You? (6:05) 7. One Rule For You (5:07) 8. Billy Billy (6:38) 9. Der Kommissar (5:00) 10. Laser Love (4:02) 11. Starflight (4:27) 12. Joy (4:32) 13. Gina 2004 (3:35) Total Time 2 hours, including circa 57:31 minutes of live concert, plus around an hour of extras Extras: Greenbelt Radio interview & unplugged session in The Tank consisting of: Frozen Rivers (Radio GB Unplugged) One Rule For You (Radio GB Unplugged) Photo slide show with John and Pete's reflections on Greenbelt - Peter Banks / keyboards, vocals - Ian Niblo / bass - John Russell / guitar, vocals - Matthew Russell / drums - Keith Smith / vocals DVD Angel Air Waves - NJPDVD623 (2005, UK) I'll leave it for you guys to decide what to do with this... Edit: The Tank is Greenbelt's festival café, in case anyone was wondering (as I was lol!) The festival is held annually in late August at Boughton House, a country house within an estate of around 11,000 acres in the parish of Weekley in Northamptonshire, England, situated about 3 miles north-east of Kettering. Edit 2: Found the videos for all 13 tracks of this concert on YouTube, uploaded by Angel Air themselves, which include the spoken bits in between the music, so have included the updated timings above in a fresh listing.
