Greetings, I have sent a private message to the reviewer, ClemofNazareth, Mormos "Magic Spell of Mother's Wrath", but as I now see this Errors Thread, I am posting here as well, with slightly more detail. I respect the reviewers opinions, but he does make some "historical claims" that are actually false. Plus, as he as listed as "Special Collaborator Prog Folk Researcher, it seems important to correct these errors. Here they are:
The group released a couple of albums before a few of them wandered back to the U.S. to land in a more conventional rock group named Mountain Bus (and later renamed to SkyFarmer after they were not surprisingly sued by Leslie West and his Mountain crew). None of the Mormos members were ever in Mountain Bus. We joined Skyfarmer in 1973, after MB had disbanded. Furthermore, Leslie West and “his Mountain crew” did not bring a lawsuit against Mountain Bus; they were not aware of the lawsuit, nor did they condone it. This was a dispute between record labels. I realize that Mountain Bus is not being reviewed here, but why accuse Leslie West and his band of something they did not do? What does this have to do with Mormos? Documentation about this can be viewed here: https://www.psychedelicbabymag.com/2014/12/mountain-bus-interview-with-bill-kees.html The music on this, Mormos’ second and final album, is a mildly interesting blend of acoustic folk, inevitable mellow psych influences, and some pretty odd vocals. Annie Hat (now Ann Lindquist) plays flute and provides plead vocals, No, Annie Hat (Williams) and Ann Lindquist are two different people. Ms Lindquist appeared on a Skyfarmer single, but that is not relevant to Mormos. Additionally, Annie Hat plays bass (not flute) and provides lead vocals. (Ernie Mansfield was the flute player.) Obviously, my first "error" is much more concerning that the last. Thank you! |

^ Ernie, why don't you read messages carefully?
In another thread I explained you that PA members can edit only their own reviews, nobody else can change other person's reviews.
Thus I see only 2 ways if ClemofNazareth will not be available: 1. Live with his review despite its imperfection. 2. Ask admins to delete it if you think that it's so radically wrong that it spoils the band's reputation. |

Thank you, NotAProghead! If you are seriously asking me that question, "read messages carefully" it is because the messages on this website come out in a convoluted fashion, ie, many lines of gibberish, I don't know if this is HTML or what, but at any rate it is not easy to decipher. Additionally, I've spent a lot of time trying to navigate this website, sometimes I am denied access, other times, I cannot return to the page I want. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be irritating.
Thanks for the advice. I have sent an email to ClemofNazareth and I will wait a couple weeks and then take the next step.

Fine! That's what exactly came to my mind a few minutes ago when I've found Bob's email address in his PA profile. Hope you'll contact him successfully and solve all of his review issues.

Whilst on the subject of spurious unwanted characters appearing, the ¿½ in Glina on line 3 of Tales from the Sky's biography is still there too (it should read Gélina) plus the minor irregularities with a few uppercase letters and unwanted spaces in the credits section of the album.

I edited BOTH the band page and the album page TWICE. It's not my fault. I'll edit tomorrow.
