Last Patrol might be Monster Magnet's best album since Dopes to Infinity, and definitely the most oldschool psychedelic - there's several songs that would not have sounded out place on an early-'70s Hawkwind LP. Furthermore, they've worked out a problem they've had for the last many albums, that of the softer more ballad-y songs not being very interesting. |
