Any good, Gary? I have an earlier Sula vinyl album from a few years back (I seem to think it's called `The Night' with a green rocketship on the cover), and I was curious about this one. I hope it's at least better than the related Zone Six's `Love Monster', which I find hugely unengaging, pretty much a really standard space-rock album going through the motions without any great inspiration or memorable moments (if not exactly a bad album as such).

^  The first three tracks (half of the album) are very monotone and repetitious. The next track only improves slightly and the last two don't get much better.
I also have The Night and even though I haven't played it lately what I remember is better than the new one.

Ahh crap, maybe I won't bother, unless I can hear some clips online first. I have to admit, I hardly ever listen to `The Night' either (surprised I actaully got those details right, to be honest!).

That cover sure is nice, though!

Syndone - Eros & Thanatos (Very nice album. I could live without that remake of a song from their second album though, it's totally out of the place like a bonus track in the middle of the album. Fortunately, Steve Hackett closes the album with a great solo Clap)
Space Art - s/t
Space Art - Trip in the Center Head
Tangerine Dream - Exit
Lunar Grave - Mirror of the Woods
Esfera - All The Colours of Madness
Bad Acid - Revelations of the Third Eye
Baumann/Koek - s/t
Renaissance - Turn of the Cards
Pink Floyd - Meddle (I heard Echoes hundreds of times but I always discover a detail I never heard before. This time it was a ghostly guitar solo on the left side during the last verse. I also paid more attention to the spacey slide guitar on the right.)

Yesterday:

Van der Graaf Generator - Godbluff
Seven Impale - City of the Sun
Krokofant - s/t
Krokofant - Krokofant II (In preparation for their concert last night, which was hot, but the girl behind the bar was hotter, hot damn!)
Jaga Jazzist - Starfire (With the Horntveth brothers in attendance at the concert they played this over the speakers before the show. Caught pretty much all of it, but had to give it a full listen when I got home. A marvelous album it is, and getting better with each listen it still does.)

Today:

Blue Öyster Cult - Tyranny and Mutation
Motorpsycho - The Motorpnakotic Manuscripts
Motorpsycho - Here Be Monsters
Motorpsycho - Here Be Monsters Vol. 2 (Shorter, but more interesting than the studio album, IMO. Feel the studio album isn't complete without it. Should be available for order on the band's webshop soon, highly recommend putting in an order for it if you have the opportunity. Tour release that will only be available for order for the remainder of the tour (until May 14.), so if you snooze, you lose.)
Ulver - ATGCLVLSSCAP (Totally loving this one! My AOTY so far.)

Last three days:
Blood Ceremony - s/t (Speaking of female-fronted heavy bands, I think you would find this one much more interesting, Michael Thumbs Up)
Le Orme - Collage
Gordon Giltrap - Visionary
Iron Kim Style - s/t
Amazing Flying Pony - s/t (I don't remember the last time I played this EP from a local short-lived Post-Punk band. It's weird that looking at live footage they seem awful but live it was magical Tongue)

Susana Santos Silva - Impermanence
Black Mountain - IV
Fripp & Eno - Equatorial Stars
Camel - Breathless (Skipped the last track, yikes Dead)
Astral Son - Silver Moon
