I have bootleg copies on cassette tape of two Elf albums.  I haven't listened to those in years.  Kind of Dio goes honky tonk.  He might have fit right in on a couple ELP songs.

Would love to hear some really early Dio when he was with Ronnie James and the Shondelles...or whatever he was doing back in the early 60's.  Tongue

Yeah, they've got a bit of a honky tonk feel to them.  But still cool.  Can't wait for "The Devil You Know" to come out.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

^ Nice...I had a stretch this winter where I listened to Bruce way too much, well not really I guess. Rosalita on Disc 1 of Live 75-85 is my favorite song of his. I love all his early stuff when he was playing 4 hour concerts...Cool

I had Darkness on the Edge of town and Born to Run on a 90 min cassette and I think played for nearly 2 years straight in the car when I was about 20LOL Still like him heaps but seem to prefer the more accoustic ones of his later releases

Ive only heard a little of his newer stuff. I guess I'm too content with the stuff my parents already had to go out and get all of his new stuffEmbarrassed. But yeah those are two favorites of mine (being 18). There must be something about those albums that attracts the youth Smile
