My wife makes it in large quantities in our slow cooker and the quality is off and on too. This batch was excellent. I only had it for the first time about ten years ago. There was a good restaurant that specialised in pork called "Porkin'", or something sophomoric like that.

Right now having smoked salmon with cream cheese, capers and little squeeze of lemon on Wasa crispbread, and more beer -- this time a craft India Pale Ale. Usually prefer IPAs when it's warmer, but this one's very nice. No more beer for me after this today; feeling bloated.

supper at an excellent restaurant in town. House salad and fettucine alfredo with smoked salmon and caviar as a garnish, followed crème brulee with grand marnier.  All washed down with pear vodka with pear juice and a shot of lime juice.

Pricey, but well worth it, particularly as my husband was paying, not me Wink

Currently Dinner : Spag-Bog of the highest order, topped with heaps of fresh-grated Parmesan, with a Cucumber salad dressed in a homemade Garlic vinaigrette...........watching 'My Kitchen Rules' (and wishing that they include a MESHUGGAH soundtrack, which they would never, and I don't care.........). Always love these dumb-ass cooking shows..........

ClapClap clappies to both of you. With all respect to Dr. Wu and his Captain Krunch... there has never been a greater breakfast  cereal known to man than Raisin Bran.
