Patrick, on your next Wayside order, order some Paul Dunmall albums.  Three of them are in the blowout sale.

Why buy these?

Well two of them are by the Paul Dunmall Octet.

These feature all members of Mujician.  One even features Elton Dean.

The other one (the Paul Dunmall Moksha Big Band) also features members of Mujician, including Keith Tippett.

Mmm!

I've yet to hear them but I am looking very much forward to them.

That reminds me: I don't have any Mujician LOLEmbarrassed

Hopefully I'll get that job soon... This morning I went back to the school to hand in my application. It was hell to complete all that paperwork! It was all so new to me.

Not much, just ate some dinner and I'm listening to some Albert Ayler. Jazz FTW!

Been on a real big jazz kick of late. Smile

Oh, I bet.

Hope all that goes well! Sounds like it is so far though.

Great. Your recently played tracks are mega-win.

I love The Shape of Jazz to Come. Great album. Clap

It was only $3.89 on amazon for the MP3 album, couldn't pass it up. I still Like A Love Supreme better though.

No, they just have to process the application, do background checks and all. Having always been a government employee, it is all very new to me (though the hiring process for gov't people in Italy is usually very long), and a little bit daunting. I have nothing to hide, and the FBI has already checked me for the Green Card, but I can't say I like it too much. Anyway, from what I've been given to understand, they can't wait to hire me and start me teaching, and I can't wait either.

Well, yeah... I like A Love Supreme better than any other jazz I've ever heard. LOL

That is a good album though. The only albums that approach ALS are other albums by Coltrane, Bitches Brew, and The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady.

Yea, it's my favorite too. Still need to go through the other 3 discs of The Complete 1961 Village Vanguard Recordings.

Have fun with that!

I haven't listened to any jazz today, but I may later.
