Sady this guy never gets listed in any drum polls in here, though he beats them all by a mile. And being a drummer myself I know what I'm talking of. He's my Drum-God.

And this guy is 2nd in my personal drum poll. Also never listed in any polls in here. Guys, guys, open your ears and don't get carried away by big band names. As one musican who played with him accurately remarked in a tv-feature about him (the tv-feature was not about the drummer, it was about the guy of whom the quote is): "He's soloing all the time". And yes, he's not exactly a beauty.
