Wiki lists the drum performance on this song as Buddy Rich. I seem to think that they used his performance of drums on this song, and then assembled members of his band together and they re-recorded the rest of the music. I'll have to look at the CD booklet when I get home to see if my memory serves me right or not.

Nah, I'd just eat the cucumbers.

That could very well be the hour I'll go to sleep.

I don't think I've pulled an all-nighter since high school, although that was only a little over 2 years ago. My body doesn't handle them well as it is. Although a guy in my high school class pulled 3 all-nighters in a row and still functioned like a normal human being.
|
I can pull off two pretty easily, three would be interesting. I guess I could if I had exams following each of them.
The exam-period pretentious proto-moustache still looks terrible, and is therefore going as soon as the exams are over. It's a kind of mourning ceremony in reverse.
|
Haha. I can forget about shaving for a week, it never grew horribly until recently. But I usually clean my face the day before piano lessons, important exams and such.
And dates, of course!
|
Yeah, mine's at the stage where, if I don't shave for a couple of days it's noticeable, but at the same time it doesn't grow fast enough that it's worth shaving. Shaving before dates (though I haven't been on one of those in ages), social occasions, etc. is usually done.
|
My best friend from high-school was hormonally superior to me, thus growing a beard starting 9th grade, and two years later, he basically had a rugged beard, the blades just couldn't solve anything anymore, the next day it grew back. I've been caught offside several time in the last year, forgetting to shave and going to classes so...messy. Good think I at least have lots of "take a shower' stickies around the house.

Though I took a break from it to hear some collab stuff. I'm going back to it momentarily.

Marcela Bovio from Stream of Passion has such a gorgeous voice. I am really enjoying the three new songs on their website from their new album. Fortunately, they seem to be in a similar sound/direction as from their first album with Arjen Anthony Lucassen. Good that they kept the sound even without the leader.

I might have mentioned this when I saw the show previously, but I was watching a rerun of Big Bang Theory last night and Radiohead gets a mention. See for yourself:

So I noticed. Life Line Project was borderline progressive to my ears, the guy's style is totally unoriginal, only in the vein of symphonic keyboardists.

Unfortunately, so many of those new prog acts are totally lacking in originality. You wouldn't believe how many Tool or TMV clones there are around - and don't get me started on the PT clones!

I think Radiohead is a very important part of the universe.

You'll change your opinion once Yorke gives you a lousy tip.

I was leaving the pub earlier and the song on the Jukebox was by REO Speedwagon. It then came to my attention that I recognised it.
