I couldn't train for my new job today because they had installed a new software system for the computers and cash registers. So I'll be going in tomorrow instead.

Although that means I can't get any tips today... Cry

I have an 8'O'clock meeting tomorrow just on the other side of a major construction zone.  I'm not looking forward to fighting with that tomorrow.
Being in Baltimore, you need to drop in on Jody.

I actually enjoy them, but they are rarely done well.

"South Side of the Sky" by Glass Hammer with a female vocalist and a bit of electronic elements thrown in, though....wow.  Better than the original.

I agree. I've only heard a few covers where I thought they were as good or better than the original.

I still need to hear Glass Hammer.

I'll have no time to drop in on anyone - all day meeting, then I have to race back home - we're having friends stay over Friday night, then we're all going up to a wedding in NYC on Saturday.  So I have to get home and help clean up the joint.  LOL

Where are you working?

LaRosa's (local pizza chain) as a server. The pay is horrible but I heard one of the servers who's training me complain about "only making about $94 in tips on a Sunday" so it can't be too bad. Not to mention she was quite cute. Big smile I figure I'll be working 30-40 hours per week over the summer and 2 or 3 shifts per week when school starts again.

I don't think I've pulled an all-nighter since high school, although that was only a little over 2 years ago. My body doesn't handle them well as it is. Although a guy in my high school class pulled 3 all-nighters in a row and still functioned like a normal human being. ConfusedLOL

If I did, it might taste a bit like spaghetti or something! LOL

I never made it past 5 AM, ever. The record was when I stayed up almost all the night awake (had to wake up at 7), to finish my diploma paper, in 12th grade. It sucked the life out of me.

I can pull off two pretty easily, three would be interesting. I guess I could if I had exams following each of them.

The exam-period pretentious proto-moustache still looks terrible, and is therefore going as soon as the exams are over. It's a kind of mourning ceremony in reverse.

I do remember a few occasions on which I stayed awake all night - most of them when I was way younger than I am now. I do like to get my 8 hours of sleepWink.

Haha.
I can forget about shaving for a week, it never grew horribly until recently.
But I usually clean my face the day before piano lessons, important exams and such.

And dates, of course!

Yeah, mine's at the stage where, if I don't shave for a couple of days it's noticeable, but at the same time it doesn't grow fast enough that it's worth shaving. Shaving before dates (though I haven't been on one of those in ages), social occasions, etc. is usually done.
