Haven't brought this out in a while, but here it is.

How do I deserve that? You're the one that posted absolute obviousness.

It's like wasting a post by saying "Blue is blue" or "The Decemberists is the greatest thing ever". Tongue

Only losers bump their own posts.

It was buried, the room was going quickly at the time, and no one commented on my awesome post. Wink

This conversation is now 100% percent better.

If you honestly think the Decemberists are the greatest thing ever, then I question your judgement.

I haven't heard much of them yet, but... better than Rush? Shocked

You really are a prejudger.

How is that prejudging? I've heard a few songs already, so I at least have some idea. And I never said I liked them or didn't like them. Confused

I'm not in the mood to give them a proper album listen yet though; and I refrain from being anything other than uninformed/indifferent until then.

Coltrane is a better topic anyway.

I recommend Om and Interstellar Space to you, Henry, if you don't have them already. Great post-Ascension free jazz from him.

I unfortunately haven't gotten to them yet, but I sense a rage impulse buying session coming, so I might have them soon.

God damn it, I am trying to write this and nothing is coming. I don't want to fail two classes for no reason, one is enough to prove that I am emo and lame.

The thread is looking good. Kind of a cubist flair, no?

Yikes. I would say use an online translator to help, but those suck.

Hopefully you can at least come across decently; I'm sure she'll understand.

Slaughterhouse-Five = amazing

Highly recommended.

Mother Night is the next Vonnegut I shall read.  It's somewhat related to Slaughterhouse-Five too, I gather. Big smile

There.

4 sentences, that should do, it's just an email after all.

I asked her if she was getting ready for some internet dating. Hope it sounds as funny on email as it does in my head.

Yeah, hopefully. I've had that happen before where it does and doesn't work out quite that way. LOL

The idea of a 91 woman getting a laptop to cyber date is hilarious to me anyway (as much as I love that particular woman)

Yes although it's more than that.

It's dark and surreal and very amusing.  I like my black humour.

Vonnegut's novels are not for everyone though.

I've read two of his so far.  Both have been excellent.
