Yes, I think this is really cool, I can see why everyone gave it such high marks.

I'll have to check it out then. What subgenre is it? (Not that I care, it just gives me a very small and broad idea of what to expect)

It's in Eclectic - has a nice variety of instrumentation going on, a bit of Crimson influence, etc.  This first track has a lot of sections that are very frenetic in a nice RIO sort of way Wink

At least you justified it with the "I'm not a proper hard rocker"-angle.

Eh, I like it. It's a good album. I'm just not rock-dedicated enough to like it more.

On the plus side, Le Orme Heart

I know you like it. But it's an absolute masterpiece for me.

Yes. Le Orme. Number five on my last.fm charts. Deservedly so. Can't say I've listened to them a lot lately though. Right now I just want to find something that sounds exactly like Peter Gabriel solo that isn't PG. *sigh* Can't get enough.

Oh, okay. I'll put it on my "to hear" list.

Doing very well, although I can tell my wife is starting to get cabin fever.  She goes back to work in a few weeks.

I'm too poor to travel but I'm still getting to study in France next year Approve

And yes, more music should sound like Peter Gabriel. Too bad I can't think of anything.

Robolovskaja!

I'm fine, just fine. I'm reading about anthropogenic extinctions, but I've been for a long walk in a rain-rejuvenated world, so nothing can take me down.

You?

Relatively happy. In the should-start-learning-for-exams-properly-any-day-now funk at the moment and not doing loads about it. Been thinking a lot about things lately, and I've become a socialist, so I'm either crazy or insane. But it's good.

Ah. The worries of developed countries. I can, as an example, never really decide whether I'm a liberal socialist or a social liberal Cry.

I just realized that the same is happening over here. Shocked

Actually at 6:30 I'm doing a live broadcast from my college radio station. I'm even a member of the board for next year. You should all listen then, at http://www.wesufm.org.

I refuse to let my tax dollars go towards a young man in his prime whoring it up in Amsterdam.

I'm not that into great literature.
