I've not heard that song nor album.  My exposure to Prince is really the stuff that was force fed to us back in the day on pop radio, MTV, and at weddings and whatnot.  I don't mind Little Red Corvette and 1999 and When The Doves Cry is a pretty good ballad.  But that was really about it.  Never really enough to make me want to check him out further, although there is probably other stuff I wouldn't mind from him.  I pretty much hated everything pop back then just on principle alone and I think that that feeling is still pretty prevalent around these parts.

Seigmen was a national success, but due to the fact that the first four album's lyrics were in Norwegian, they never got much attention outside Scandinavia. 

With "Metropolis" (which they released in two versions) they started with English lyrics, and the music turned from being a style similar to Drawn, to be pure melancholic rock like newer Anathemaand Katatonia.

Just connected to Metal Music Archives after a 9 (?) months absence.

It just took me two minutes to get sad about this forum.
