Uggh, time to go to bed. 12 kilometres by bike to work, a busy nine hour shift and 12 kilometres by bike back home.

I'll try and check out Discipline tomorrow if I remember.

I find it annoying that I can't quite consider Free Hand a masterpiece...

The two (well, three if you count Interview) other GG albums I've got, ATT and Three Friends, I love to bits and consider great albums, but not quite consistent enough to merit a masterpiece rating. I think Free Hand is better than both of them but still not quite sharp enough on the second side to merit the fifth star. Still, great stuff.

Interview is quite good, too. I'm not entirely sure they really achieve the unique sound they did on the other three, and they tend to slack on memorability a bit in favour of being complex all the time.

Anyway, Civilian and Playing The Fool coming soon :)

Free Hand isn't a masterpiece. It falls after the first half.

Clap Agree, though mainly in a direct Prog point of view, whatever that means...

On the other hand, Power and the Glory, is another one, just not in the same way as IAGH.

Free Hand and Octopus are close masterpieces, though not sure....
Three Friends is excellent, though nothing really above stuff like The Advent of Panurge, In a Glass House..

Coltrane's Interstellar Space is vastly underrated.

I'm finished studying for Accounting; this is as confident with the material as I'll get. Hopefully it'll go well tomorrow.

Then after I make it through tomorrow, I just have 1 more exam on Friday. Thank god.

I know.  I found it on the VdGG unofficial website and I just had to use it.

It was in the satirical political magazine Private Eye in 2008.

I hope it's a double reference to the Dickens character.
