One quick change to "Man in the Moon / Evolution" by Nektar.

In releases information, "Producer, Engineer: Julian Gordon Hastings" should be changed to "Producer, Engineer (12-23): Julian Gordon Hastings"

After being heavily "nektarized", is everything clear with KARFAGEN releases? Or I have to read all related posts? Cry

We also have the Birds album, but I can't find it available in one format or another as a separate release. Is the Birds album a right addition? Confused

^ The 'Birds' album is available to purchase on Amazon.com and Apple Music, or stream on Spotify so yes - at the moment it is a valid addition. It's available nowhere else as far as I can tell though, and on Spotify it is listed as the latest Karfagen release, but the 'Passage to the Forest of Mysterious & Birds' combined limited edition album came out just six days later, and I suspect will eventually replace the standalone 'Birds' album on Spotify - if not also on Amazon and Apple Music. Only time will tell with that.

I still personally don't think the title of the limited edition combined album that we now have - which only names one of the two distinct albums which make up the package - is accurate, but it is what Antony himself asked Mayer to name it as in an email he sent to him the other day. Virtually everywhere else on the Internet they call the package what it is - "Passage to the Forest of Mysterious" & "Birds" (usually without the quotes - but on Bandcamp the quotes are also part of the title, at least for the digital album, since the physical 2CD version is described there as "BIRDS - Mysterious - LTD edition double CD Digi pack" to confuse matters even more!).

The 'Passage to the Forest of Mysterious' part of the package doesn't seem to be available on its own at the moment, either to purchase or stream. It seems you have to take the 'Birds' album too, whether you want it or not, hence my dislike of the current title that Antony wants us to use which omits the 'Birds' part. The package consists of two equally weighted albums sold together, so just using one of those album names as the title of the package is like renaming Jon and Vangelis as simply 'Jon', or Simon & Garfunkel as 'Simon'. It makes little sense to me.

I've said enough already about this subject, and completely choked up this thread over the last two or three pages, so sorry for that, and this will be my last post about it. Antony Kalugin is the originator of the two albums in the package, so I guess he can call them whatever he wants. I just hope that now he's persuaded us to omit the 'Birds' part from the name of the package, he also does the same with all the other sites who discuss or sell it out there on the Internet.

Updated track listing and releases information for "Nektar - Live in New York" by Nektar.

I believe the title should be changed to just "Live in New York" since having "Nektar" in the title is redundant.

Also, I have removed the track times for the "2004 Remaster" since every version of the remaster seems to have a different track list and not durations are present on the actual album.

2. Good Day (6:48)
3. Remember The Future, Part II (8:19)

LP 2 (40:27)
6. That's Life (8:00)
7. Show Me the Way (4:43)
8. I Can See You (7:27)

10. Woman (4:06)
11. Good ol' Rock'n Roll (5:49)

Total Time 86:58

Track Listing of 2004 Remaster:

Thanks, David. I think we can close the "Karfagen case".
I also think that excluding "Birds" from the title of Special Edition is not a good move, but if the author wants it, be so.
Actually Antony Kalugin is not only the originator of these albums, but the originator of all the mess around them on the web as well. Smile

I'm not sure about this update. I think there are THREE major releases of this album:

2 x LP from 1977
1 x CD from 1991
2 x SACD from 2004

Also, the timings and track listing we currently have from the 2004 remaster seems pretty accurate, according to the official Bandcamp page.
