that feel when you have to fill out an annual performance evaluation on yourself.  having to walk that fine line between confidence and humility.

edit: and be careful not to put anything under "things I'd like to improve on" that I don't really want to take the trouble to improve on.

"I just want to coast by on the status quo for the next few years" is not a good response. Ouch

Deep down, that's what we all want, isn't it?

Or "I don't really know what I'm doing right now. No-body seems to mind as of yet, but a bit of clearing up would be nice."

I was debating whether to go to the gym or not at lunchtime, and I had just made the decision to not go (little bit of a sore throat), and go grab some lunch now.  then I realized I have a lunch appointment on my calendar.  glad I saw that.  At least it makes me feel less bad about not going to the gym.

Good for you, Blur is nice. I just bought almost all their albums, as I've been on a serious britpop binge.
There's not a bad record in the mix! There's always some redeeming song. I've had This Is a Low in my head for a while now.
Today I listened to the new live album Parklive, it's quite magical at points with the audience mixed really loud.

I finally got around to listening to SPIN's Tribute album to Prince's Purple Rain.  I downloaded it back in 2009 when it came out, but I never bothered listening to it until this morning. I've never actually heard the original Purple Rain in its entirety.  I had just heard the 4 hit songs off of there, which were mostly hit and miss with me.  The tribute didn't really do anything that would make me want to run out and hear the original anytime soon.  Just not my cup of tea.
