Well, I did listen to PT's Voyage 34 before listening to GYBE, and I find that album to be extremely boring, so maybe that is the reason that GYBE sounded more lively to me than they had on past listens. LOL

Godspeed is good music to use as a soundtrack for an imaginary film that you create in your head. There's not a whole lot of musical development, and what little there is takes a real long time to unfold.  But for slowly building and sustaining a very focused emotion that you can dwell on for 20 minutes at a time, it's great.

ture, post rock is often about building atmosphere. Even though I like it I can't always get into it.
