You should be able to filter that yourself, you know. . . . Usually albums with over 120 reviews/ratings and with a rating exceeding 4.10 are masterpieces, but most people don't take the time it needs to listen to one album propperly and tend to give hasty reviews of it.
Porcupine Tree is an excellent example of that.

Hahaha, no, every time I listen to Porcupine Tree I hate them even more, and before you tell me to shove it I have listened to In Abstentia and TSMS a lot of times, I still don't care about the consensus of PA reviewers. But I will agree that people are quicker to bring the hate if it's a well regarded album. Trout Mask Replica has this problem too. But it's equally annoying, to me anyway, when people don't like an album but rate it highly because of its "importance". ITCOTCK and CTTE have a lot of those reviews.

Although calling it "turds" really? I can rip on an album without calling it crap or saying oh god this is just awful, what is wrong with these people?

It is called power, my friend. They can do that because they have it and we don't. It is the f**king MAN!

If you don't like Third, then it sucks to be you because it's amazing. You're entitled to your opinion, but to say that there's "nothing musical" on the album is simply absurd.

this is why i insist we should have some way of rate the reviews, if not 1 to 5 stars a simple "likes" / "doesnt like" small poll for each review.

No kidding, The Incident is not a below 4 star album. |
i was thinking of it more like 1 a way to the reviewer to see the users reaction at his review 2 a way to show other user whats the generalized opinion in that specific review kinda like amazon's "was this review helpful to you?" "yes/no" - xxx persons have found this review helpful/accurate

In Absentia and Sky are not that good, you should try Fear or Deadwing. But yeah, that's my point. Trout Mask replica is also criminaly underrated and people that rate an album by its importance just goes to show how influenceble an album rating here can be. That's not that final though, since Dark Side actually has a lower rating than Whish You Were Here, and the former is far more important and influential than the latter.

Oh lord BC & SL? It was just so dull!
Thats all I can say. It was boring and lifeless. Just left me feeling..nothing. Uninspired perhaps? Is the best way to describe the album.

Yeah, but posting a picture of somebody and making fun of how they look? Come the f**k on, that's just uncool. Not to mention the fact that there's not even anything weird about that picture.
