To make it even easier you could use Neu! - Hallogallo which clocks in at 10:07, but is essentially the same cool riff for 10 minutes over and over and over and over again.

Maybe to listen to, but for a class project comparing two 20 minutes songs is twice the work of comparing two 10 minute songs.
Maybe, but it also gives you 10 more minutes of wiggle room, you could keep it roughly the same length, but you have more parts to compare, in 10 minutes there aren't as many changes within a song as there are within 20. I dunno, I've never written about music anyway, so what do I know?

I get angry at a lot of posters too, but responding makes it worse, so I don't usually say anything.

^ a sensible position actually - silence is worse becasue a lot of people are fishing for a fight and if you dont respond you kill it. Good advice well taken ! :)

Which is why I'm not a Neu! fan.
Sadly, my whole impression of this band is based on this single song. It does have a really cool sound to it, but the lack of variety really downgrades the song for me.

I can listen to that and Negativland, but I agree, it's too repetitive. Can on the other hand, are always interesting.
