^ I can remember when John Peel championed a great many of the artists currently listed on PA
(The Top Gear theme tune was by the Nice?)
Thereafter, he stopped playing bands as soon as they became popular.
Despite that, I thought him a thoroughly decent, humble and entertaining fellow

Yes...it is hard for me to hear top gear and not think of Prog (or of the TV show if talking about Peel).

I don't have TV, but I finally have netflix and I'm watching a TV show on it...Darker than Black.  It's one of my first few animes (after Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell [though not the full series of either of those two yet]) and very enjoyable.

Sadly, embarrassingly I am watching the 1 Show aah!  But, Dame Elton John is on it and he's on cracking form !  Very funny.  Apparently he is planninng a musical based on Animal Farm, even though I hate Musicals I might be pushed in to going to that?
Help me I'm falling!
