Is that like Panda Cola and really rather tasteless?

Well... it's kind of an expensive, organic (?) version of Panda Cola, and... yes, really rather tasteless... Ouch  I think maybe a cup of tea would be a better idea!
And just to fit in to Shedly Convention, I'm about to go and do gardening now.  There!  I is all growed up. Wink

Don't forget to put some old rags on and clod 'opper boots. Wink Does Magma help the plants grow any faster?

Hehe.  I do look rather scarecrow like today, it is true.  I have actually managed to avoid the gardening so far though, although I have been doing laundry and washing-up.  Sigh.  [Cue Shed requests for freshly-ironed smalls, right about...

...now. Tongue]

I can't imagine that Magma would do much for the plants - it's more the soundtrack to a nuclear wasteland, really... Big%20smile

P.S.  We used to have a Flymo, it was orange, it was rubbish, it was plasticky, it couldn't cope with lumps, bumps or long grass, and it didn't have a receptacle to catch the clippings so you had to go around with a rake afterwards.  Grr.  In other words... "Yeah...  What he/she said." LOL

We have a Bosch now! Big%20smile  Hooray for German efficiency...

Wow, Al Bowlly!  He had a great voice.  Did you see that program about him on BBC 4 a while back?  Fascinating it was.

Sorry, random message, I know.

You should all feel ashamed, you should support what British industry we still have!

So, buy a Morgan

Wow indeed. Big%20smile  I LOVE those 1930s songs. Heart  Also, Al Bowlly was one of my Dad's favourite singers.

Some of my favourites, though, I only have on cassette.  I wish I could find them on CD/download.

I did see that programme.  Yes, it was fascinating.  He was quite the Romeo and a major heartthrob in his day!  Bit of a dramatic end, too. Ouch

(I don't think this is too random, I'm sure 1930s pop music is just the right kind of nostalgia! Tongue)

Nostalgia for old farts with neuralgia, like that Garten fellow, for example. WinkEmbarrassed  I know for certain Jim loves some old Bix Beiderbecke, Eddie Lang and King Curtis records.

I actually have an Eddie Lang album (of his best stuff... naturally).  I like Joe Venuti as well.

I barely listen to that era at the moment though but I am sure I shall return back to when I'm old and grey, like Jim. LOLEmbarrassed

Oh and no rush in replying to my PM, take as long as you like. WinkTongue

Yes it is a petrol mower.

My father had an old Flymo petrol mower... I'm not sure what we have now... something my brother acquired, I believe.

Oh we have a Bosch Hedge trimmer I think... nah, it cannot be, it's Orange... must be a Flymo as well. LOL

You never specified between electric and petrol, Lee. Wink

This is much more stylish.

I'VE GOT A FLYMO! Big%20smile

thirty years of faithful service and still hovering - looking like it has seen better days, its orange paint long encrusted with a hard caked on brown layer of lawns beneath its skirts from summers past, (there's some classic shed dialogue for you, waxing lyrical about an old hover mower) but the good ol' steel blade is still spinning after these many moons, something like my old Prog LP's !   (but not encrusted) Wink

^

If I had an acre or more of lawn I would consider a petrol mower but seeing as we have about 90ft lawn I'll stick with a rotary.

One of the reasons that I bought the Bosch was because of 'The Revolutionary Combs' . I hate having to use a strimmer. My poor Doc Martens have lacerations on them from being caught by the wire.

Ah see, that's where we're confusing matters.  We have a really big garden, so a petrol mower is the way to go.  It's not that big though whereby we need a sit-on mower. LOLEmbarrassed

I've seen your garden, Lee and yes, it is too small for a petrol mower.

Lee, I'd imagine you're the type of guy who has (or has sold) a copy of The Return of the Durutti Column by The Durutti Column and therefore are probably responsible for many a damaged album sleeve that have come on the market over the years. WinkLOL

Now, if I did have a big garden I'd plump for a John Deere...because Jeremy Clarkson doesn't like them.

the Notting Hill Gate Record and Tape Exchange is still there, Lee!

they are still charging small fortunes  to unwitting Japanese tourists for scruffy dirt encrusted vinyl obscurities (and the most common), and still rows of paper cards attached to madonna cd's entitled "progressive"..

i once enquired if a particular album could be reduced from £25 as it was retaining half an inch of dust, when the sales....person... showered it with lighter fuel, scraped a grubby cloth across it and announced the price has increased - exclaiming "it's mint now - forty quid..." Angry

Too true.I did have a copy of said album.I sold it in the mid-80s for over £20! The shop that bought it had to pin it to the wall in case it 'infected' the other albums around it.

See, you are the culprit for many damaged album sleeves then. WinkLOL

I suspect it'd fetch more than that now too... you should have kept it. Wink
