It's excellent, their second best after Goodbye Enemy Airship... imo. The sound is very different though. |

Agreed, it's wonderful, definitely one of their best albums. |

That's a great album, indeed, Nash! All the Strawbs' records between 1970 and 1975 are worth buying!! For different reasons, obviously. From a more acoustic folk structure to a more electric experience powerfully enriched by the "mighty" mellotron.

Second this recommendation - more jazz than rock or anything else - very good album indeed.

^^^^ Sounds interesting:
influences ! (Soft Machine, This Heat, Tortoise, Talk Talk, Shining, Jaga Jazzist, Supersilent, Robert Wyatt, Brian Wilson, Nick Drake et al) I will put this one on my to get list. Just need to wait for the funds to build up again. Also, a nice little read on Les Rallizes Denudes on Flux Us; seems like a commendable store. Edited by Black Velvet - April 06 2007 at 02:29 |

I keep recommending Klaatu's & Osanna's first two albums. That & the complete Bon Scott era AC/DC, & the entire Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, & John Lee Hooker collection. Off course, this is for the RIO/Avant-Garde crowd who adore primitive atonal noise making of the highest order. BOOGIE CHILLUN !!!!!!!!!!!
Who needs that fifth chord ? |

Awesome Post-Rock/Metal band in "TOOL meets MOGWAI" style!!! Related to Russian INFRONT band, the same way beautiful but a bit different. |
