I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

Power Windows used to rub me the wrong way completely. It did absolutely nothing for me 15 years ago and remained that way for a long time. But only recently, and with the enthusiasm from several forum members here, I decided to give it another listen. I was incredibly impressed with it this time around. It finally clicked with me, although I do remember always enjoying The Big Money, Mystic Rhythms, and Manhattan Project. All of the other songs came together for me. Middletown Dreams may be in my top 10 favorite Rush songs now. I just love this song. Lifeson's solo on Emotion Detector may be one of my favorite Lifeson moments. As for Grace Under Pressure, that was love for me on first-listen. Still love it to this day.

I love Emotion Detector and Mystic Rhythms. The whole album is amazing on the right day for me and yet it's one of my less spun Rush albums. I guess we just have a love/hate thing going on |

Very nice! The more early Pink Floyd the better for me. Albeit, it's a bootleg... BTW, listening to it again at the moment. Edited by Tuzvihar - August 02 2014 at 06:05 |

I have somewhat the same feeling sometimes although I would've listened to Discreet Music or maybe Ambient 2. Maybe Eno will make a Music for noisy workplaces in the near future.
