Good lord, it was over 40 degrees celsius out there at around 12pm, (about 100 degrees in the 'old' scale), but damn, it makes me feel so healthy walking that much.

Yeah, it was practically an oven out there today. I got up at 6:45 (which, as you guys know, I used to arise at 12:00pmLOL) and we still didn't beat the heat entirely, so tomorrow we are off before 6am to finish up earlier than today. Melbourne doesn't have that many terrifyingly hot days, so when they come, it's always a shock because you're not that used it.

@David:
Umm, was it in the chat room thread? I wasn't on PA that much yesterday and took a break from the chatroom, so didn't see anything about it, unless you posted it elsewhere where I need to look.

Where was the post?

I use string skipping a fair bit actually, and often it's not a conscious thing, I tend to just do it because I'm looking for certain notes and a sound, and my hands just skip over a string to the next to get there. John Petrucci really rips up some string skipped licks in the instrumental track from  the Awake album,   the track Erotomania.
