On a semi related note: I remember hearing an official stat that something like 80(ish)% of online role playing game users are male but about 50% of all users have female characters.

I'm sure that has something to do with something and means something in terms of gender roles and equality but who really cares right?

But its allso true that when i play wow i only use female chars, why run around as a ugly male, when i can run around as a sexy female? :P

Conversely, one could ask why, if you are a man, would you use the picture of another man as your avatar? Not inferring anything, really, I am sure the reasons are just as multifarious.

I'm totally the wrong person to ask about that.  LOL

I did once mistakenly but a box of something I picked off the shelf in a cart of someone who wasn't my wife.  My peripheral sucks.
