Real question,
What is with Steve Hackett? i wouldnt consider him in the same league as about half of the guitarists on this site - although i have only heard his work with genesis i find it sloppy and mediocre. he is a talented composer but thats about all i can give him.

I'm sorry, but the only Genesis band member that can be dissed on this site is Phil. And it was unanimously voted by a slim majority that those threads were to be nuked upon emergence.
You may be confusing Hackett with Hacksaw Steve. It seems he never learned that using a hacksaw to play the guitar does not make for as good theatrics as Jimmy Page using a bow, or Randy Bachman using a drumstick. That and his strings bill & guitar repair costs were cutting into what little profit he was able to make on the road ....Big%20smile

Oh, don't you know? He's a famous film star and a guitar player.

He's known for his very frequent playing with his feet, and his sexy girlfriend:

Does he still style with her?

Who gives you the authority to question whether we can question authority? Did Goo Goo Ga Joob give you that power?

Can you feel stupid if you ask stupid questions if you ask questions that have questions of questionable quality?
