Except for Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, of course.  Least creative band name in the history of the world, I think.  They're still one of my favorites, though.

Well, it's no worse than Crosby, Stills & Nash or Van Halen. Plus it had a nice lilt to it, at the time was fairly original, and allowed each member to be identified as important musicians from The Nice, Crimson and Rooster.

True, never thought of it that way before...

I can't even type it in a font that you guys can all see... I'll approximate though.

[fjutšr ImphrfIkt]

Pretend it's in IPA...

(That s should be an integral sign, both r's should be upside-down, the h should be in superscript, and both I's should be small caps. And yes, the brackets are part of the name )

I named a band once for a friend of mine.  They played Jazz/Funk/Soul fusion and I called them "Funk Me Sideways".

How about "Achilles First Stand"
When people get lost in thought it's often because it's unfamiliar territory.

I've changed my mind.

It would be a RIO/avant band called Vermicide.

And this would be the cover of the debut:

Approve

Something hard to pronounce. I think "Szczebrzeszynski Szturmowiec" will do. You can state that music of band with such name is as complex and mysterious as its name.

I would buy that, since I'm kind of used to strange art cover choices by musicians. Plus, I would have to know what does it sound like, if the graphic concept is that particular one.
