I _really_ dug that Amorphous Androgynous track. I had no idea there was even a new album out! I just added it to the Gigantic Wish List. Thumbs Up

AS I said it was sneaked out here in the UK, with promotion in Australia!!! I was with Gary Lucas when he rang AA to ask what had happened to the release Alice In Ultraland - I think Future SOunds are a bit too laid back for commercial sense.

Well, FSOL acheived some major recognition in the electronica scene, so they're probably just having fun with AA.

Clap

Interestingly they managed to get EMI to resurrect the legend prog label Harvest Records to issue it.

I've got this Easy Allstar Dub Album-its OK for an occasional listen and has some interesting ideas and arrangements.

It was the first time I'd heard that... and I have to admit, it worked! Smile

And I'm a Floyd fanatic!

Well, sadly - it's time for the commute home. Oh for the day when we can stream webcasts from our cars!

I'll hopefully be home in time for the end, but if not... thanks again Dick! Approve

I know Vital Tech Tones - I once e.mailed their drummer Steve Smith who entered into a long exchange about jazz rock fusion and sent me a heap of Tone Center Records albums.

Have to remember Vital tech Tones is hybrid of three well known jazz fusion bands:
Vital Information (Smith, some times Frank Gambale, Tom Coster), Tribal Tech (with Scott Henderson) and Bela Fleck &The Flecktones. I think the parent bands should be up before the spin-off....
