Has anyone listened to Dread
Zeppelin?
Their first album 'Un-Led-ed' is BRILLIANT. The
first two songs, 'Black Dog' and Heartbreaker' blow
me away.
Very unique and highly recommended.
Dread Zeppelin is an <a title="United States"

hahahhah..... I LOVED that album back...whenever
the hell it came
out... wish I still had it. A reggae group fronted by an
Elvis-impersonator doing Zeppelin covers...... LMAO.
Highly
recommended to anyone with a sense of humor
regarding music.

Actually, the lead singer, Tortelvis, is an "Elvis
impersonator impersonator". He doesn't
impersonate Elvis at all, he impersonates Elvis
impersonators. I heard him in a radio interview
explaining this. I was laughing for weeks.
I also like Me First And The Gimme Gimme's version
of "Mandy" and "Sweet Caroline". I never realized that
these are actually great songs, just the originals
overplayed.
Johnny Cash's covers of "One" and "Solitary Man"
give me chills.
The first time I heard The Sundays version of "Wild
Horses" put a lump in my throat. Ah, that voice.
My all time favourite is The Ramones singing the
theme from "Spider Man" and The Lunachick's cover
of "Heart of Glass".
