I don't have a clue why he isn't banned yet. He only seems good for annoying people. |
The guy who says that he enjoys nothing from today. Yeah, he is kind of stupid, and close-minded...
I LOVE Platypus.
How are you doing guys?

Not the Platypus that I posted. I'd suspect that there is a pretty good chance that you wouldn't like that song. Although it is mostly instrumental.

I am currently listening to the Steve Howe Trio, which is a little jazz band which includes Steve's son Dylan on drums and Ross Stanley on Hammond organ. They play about half original songs and half jazzed up versions of Yes songs.

Nope. I was talking about the band Platypus which includes members from Dream Theater, King's X, and The Dixie Dregs.

Dixie Dregs isn't bad, but I really don't like Dream Theater and King's X, but particularly the first.
I just don't get why people love DT that much.

I'd rather have stayed home and do nothing.
But I already did that yesterday afternoon instead of being in school.

I can say that same about Magma. Different strokes for different folks.

Yeah, indeed. But I can understand why people don't love Magma.
I can not understand what is good in DT.
By curiosity, do you love Stravinsky and Carl Orff?

I'm not really a fan of classical music so I can't say. I do like Stravinsky's Firebird Suite as played to start off the Yes concerts, but that is the extent of my familiarity.

Maybe listening to Les Noces, Rite of Spring and Carmina Burana would make you eventually appreciate Magma.

Maybe but probably not. My biggest hangup with Magma is the made up language. I find the chants and whatnot to be a huge turnoff. It is just how I am.

I've never listened to Carmina Burana in full but I do know that famous part. They use it on The Apprentice over here in the UK. Strange how popular that piece has become yet still people don't like Magma...

I could say the same for Italian Operas as I don't understand Italian.
It's the same thing really for me with Magma. You don't need to know what they're singing to appreciate it.
