Yes, Evangelion is one of the very few animes I can watch. It actually has some content for a change. Most anime is plain boring, but ocasionally, like in this case, Japanese people can stop masturbating to women fitting dead octopusses into their vaginas and can deliver something actually worth watching.

Check out Serial Experiments Lain next.  It's the only anime that I've seen that comes close to the same philosophical/psychological level of Evangelion.

I also liked quite a lot that one about a Hikkikkomori and his useless life. Kind of remember myself, but with an even worser life and with an eventual happy ending (which in my case still didn't unfolded), though I was waiting for him to commit suicide together with that otaku farmer boy.
