My internet connection is making me stressed. And my sister is listening to Hilary Duff, which doesn't help.

Then go out and read a book or do some drawing or listen to some music on your MP3 player.

My MP3 player stresses me out too since it doesn't work right, the jack the headphone plugs into is loose I think. And yes, it took 16 minutes to load the Post Reply page.

Are you sure your family didn't switch to dial-up when you weren't looking?

I'm pretty sure they didn't, it's intermittent.

Woo, I'm making progress with getting Ahleuchatistas playing in the UK. I have found a promoter who likes Math Rock and would love to put the band on. Let's hope something comes from this.

They're an awesome Math Rock band from Asheville, NC.
Mmmm.
I have most of their albums on CD too.

Erm... Ruins have math rock elements. Quite a lot actually.
Upsilon Acrux you'd like. They're not just math rock and have a lot of King Crimson influences.
Ahleuchatistas are also awesome.

Also, they're far easier on the the ears than Meshuggah. ![LOL LOL](smileys/smiley36.gif) You should like Math Rock. There's no reason why you shouldn't. Massacre (a Fred Frith band) also have proto-Math elements, as do Henry Cow, actually.

I never said I didn't like it, I just said I'm not into it.

Saying you're not into is saying you don't like it. ![LOL LOL](smileys/smiley36.gif) Try some Upsilon Acrux. They're avant-prog as well.

You should.
Not all Math Rock is exciting mind you but I do thoroughly recommend Upsilon Acrux and Ahleuchatistas. Battles too, actually.
I haven't tried out Don Caballero yet.
