In the 37th second of flight of the Ariane rocket (launched on June 4, 1996), the inertial reference system attempted to convert a 64-bit floating-point number to a 16-bit number, but instead triggered an overflow error which was interpreted by the guidance system as flight data, causing the rocket to veer off course and be destroyed.

Oopsy.

That's strange. Maybe the morning cold? I don't think you're on high grounds, and France is way above where you are, latitude wise.

BTW, I'm looking on a world map with latitutdes and longitudes and I must say I never realized that most of the US corresponds (latitude wise) to the Mediterranean area and Northern  subsaharian Africa. Shocked 40 degrees (+/- 1) latitude means Cote D'Azur, Sardinia, Naples, Barcelona, etc., but pretty temperate climate in the US. That's strange.

I wonder if The Truth has heard this Steve Howe Portraits of Bob Dylan album that I am listening to right now.  All Bob Dylan songs as interpreted by Steve Howe, with guest vocalists on each of the songs.

Kid A!

Robert, I know I'm normally an abysmal failure in such matters, but I'm going to  do a few more evals today for the Eclectic Team. I promise! Embarrassed

Also, congrats on your promotion jampa! Clap
