To quote my post from a couple of days ago. However, it was expanded in the previous post due to MP's comment regarding Peter Hammill, whether tongue in cheek or not.

I'm out of here too. Off to study for my Economics and to do some other things. Be back later!

Be certain that in the fictional land of Beer and Pretzels, that the supply of beer is enough to meet the demand that will be caused by the supply of pretzels.  Take care Alex. Possibly, talk to you later.

Think about it though.

Hammill = better vocalist
Hammill = better lyricists
Hammill = better musician

I mean compared to Dagmar.

The dear Jamesling has quite a mancrush on Mr Hammill. Big%20smile

Erm... no. LOL

He's just the greatest musician alive.

TGIF.  Is it symphonic? Is it psychedelic?  Either way, I'm currently listening to Nektar's A Tab in the Ocean.  Really good stuff.  Thank you PA for helping me discover this band that has been around for 30 plus years and as far as I know never made a dent in the U.S. market, and otherwise would never have come to my attention.

I don't know.  It is a bit quiet - perhaps everyone is... ooh... doing some work! Shocked LOL

We can't have it being quiet.  Time to spin some Sieges Even's The Art of Navigating by the Stars.  That'll get Jared's attention.

It's kind of spooky in here.  Did we lose electricity?  The lights are out.  The television is turned off.  Even the stereo sits quiet in the corner.

Er, nope.  The light came on in the fridge and the beer is still cold. (I wonder if the light in the fridge stays on when the door is closed.  Maybe I should check.  Hmm. It's still on.) Wink

Anyhow, is anyone familiar with Carptree.  A very enjoyable band, methinks, but completely non-RIO.  They are listed in Neo, which I suppose is a decent fit, but I am kind of thinking that with the Art Rock split that they might fit nicer in Crossover prog.  Oh well, that is only kind of important.  I still need to track down Insekt from them, but I really enjoy their other albums.

What is this "work" you speak of? Shocked

I have been asleep and also out of the house seeing friends.  Not at the same time though!  So yes, I've been busy.

Melissa, when is Panic Room?

Hi James.  I know that I am a poor substitute for Melissa, but this thread might help with your question.

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson
