I too haven't bought anything in a while..last thing was Watershed and Lightbulb Sun in the same day.
A few days ago I did download:
Caravan - In the land of the grey and pink, and for girls who grow plump in the night
Egg - The Polite Force
and I'm more than halfway through:
LTE 2
John Petrucci - Suspended Animation
VDGG - Still Life & Godbluff
and Sleepy Time Gorilla Museum - ? |
Which Sleepytime? I have their debut and it's not quite as good as I hoped but I should try the follow up sometime. VdGG, Caravan, and Egg pwn the rest. Oh yeah, I saw LTE live, in case I didn't already tell you multiple times.

I agree. The only thing keeping me from contacting my lawyers is that they did their song 30 years or so earlier...

A week now, some of my friends start in a few days. If I only had one roommate I think I could fit all my music stuff in fine, but we'll have to see. I'll put the CDs and stuff in boxes which can fit under the bed, and put my CD player, amp, speakers on either the desk or dresser, but I'll have to improvise. I'm going to try to get there early and wait in line so I can get the first bed available (the non-bunk bed )

Exactly the same thing for me. They acutally have two releases after the debut which people claim are a lot better, but certainly I'll have to grab Of Natural History at some point. Debut wasn't bad, but I didn't love it.

That's the bad thing about buying a band's cheapest album rather than highest rated, if it's disappointing then it probably won't encourage checking out anything else by them. Although if it's great then it makes the better ones even more enjoyable.

He's got an impossible-to-beat posting endurance. No wonder Hairy have to relax a little - the stress would be killing me.

I heard about the LTE more than once!
Also the Sleepytime album is....Of Natural History..just because it's their highest rated..if I like it I'll get more from there.
Chances are I'll like Petrucci's solo album more than all of them though, considering I am the biggest DT fanboy ever

I've actually heard Petrucci's solo album... well parts of it in my friend's car. Some of it I actually enjoyed, which is surprising considering I'm not really into DT at all anymore.

Andy Murray is terrible. I ended up watching that match he unexpectedly "won" and it was entirely down to the crowd - if someone had leaped onto the court and wrestled his opponent down to the ground most of them would probably have cheered.

Erm... I was referring to his loss in the Olympics to some random Chinese guy nobody has ever heard of.

You may feel differently one day - and you'll be shocked by it. Three years ago I was playing DT nonstop - then I discovered this site.
