Hello, Rob. How are you?

Pretty alright. On holiday, relaxed, should have access to a good stereoplayerthingummy in a few days.

Sounds good. I'm relaxing too.

Can't believe it's almost 2009. That'll be weird to say at first.

Yes, I think that every year, and then I end up finding it pretty run-of-the-mill.

Haha, that's true.

Only one last song to get done.  I expect the album will be available for download the final week of the year.

Awesome. Clap

That would be funny if both of our albums came out the same day. It's entirely possible too.

I think the last day of the year would be cool.

But any time that last week would be cool.

I have to agree. LOL

It reminds me of "Malignant Narcissism" from Snakes and Arrows. Tongue

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking too. Not sure what I'm doing yet though. I'll most likely have a slightly better idea tomorrow.

That's a good track. I like that one. I like most of Snakes And Arrows, actually.

It's a really good album. Thumbs Up

May be one of my favorites from Rush, which says something, since they're all favorites. LOL

Mhm. I'm not the biggest Rush fan, but I'd give it a pretty solid three. Workin' Them Angels is one of my favourite Rush tracks. My only real criticism is that a fair few of the songs (Spindrift, Bravest Face in particular) go on a long time and don't really develop a lot/develop memorably.

That's understandable.

I absolutely loved Spindrift live (and studio, but it was great to experience), but trying to see it from an objective point of view, that makes sense.

It is very good. I was somewhat annoyed by the ending ditty thing, though. Not sure if that'll pass as I become less of an angry, children-chorus-hating person.

Haha, I know what you mean.

I personally love it, but I've heard similar complaints. One of my favorite albums.

I heard Ommadawn for the first time yesterday when Prof. played it for me. Not as impressed as I thought I would be, but still good.

Five Miles Out is good too, but I prefer Hergest Ridge, Songs, Ommadawn, Amarok, etc. first.

Ommadawn needs more than one listen.
